The second title to see publication from Ancient Squid, Water Fight, has made a splash in San Diego. Written by Rob Beales, with artwork by Luis Amoros, this book received great response from readers and other convention patrons during Comic-Con.

Ancient Squid is excited to have this story in print and expects it to be in stores soon. "The response from people at the convention was really gratifying," said Beales. "Luis's artwork seemed to connect with the audience and I'm really hoping that the stor
y satisfies."

Comic-Con proved to be a rousing success as the Ancient Squid logo drew crowds of fans, industry professionals, and producers alike.

This year marked the debut of both Water Fight and Stormcrow Volume II. Current Stormcrow artist Keith Morange was on hand doing sketches and signing books. Also, marketing for the upcoming graphic novel, Broken Girls was in full swing, with two styles of poster art by Mike Ebert and Ancient Squid Media’s Preview Book on hand. Merchandise was also on display; alongside last year’s Ancient Squid buttons were this year’s red Ancient Squid T-shirts, which completely sold out!
